A church community cannot be a healthy church community without the faithful teaching of God’s word. When the truth of God is abandoned for cultural relevance and society-appeasing sermons we lose the life-source of a healthy church. We might be cool and appealing but we lack truth that accords with godliness. We may advertise life-transformation but in reality we lack the true life-transforming power of God.
